Republic Day Celebrations 2022

The Embassy of India, Warsaw, celebrated 73rd Republic Day of India on 26th January, 2022 within the Embassy premises with joy and the participation of members of the Indian community and friends of India in Poland. The event commenced with the unfurling of the National flag by Amb. Nagma M. Mallick, followed by singing of the National Anthem. Thereafter, Ambassador read out the address of the Hon’ble President to the nation on the Republic Day.

On the occasion of our 73rd Republic Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has written to Mr. Krzysztof Iwanek, a South Asia expert and the Head of the Asia Research Centre, War Studies University, Poland and conveyed his greetings. Mr. Iwanek's main area of interest is contemporary Indian politics. He has also co-authored a book titled Indie: Od kolonii do mocarstwa. 1857-2013 (“India. From a Colony to a Power. 1857-2013′) with Adam Burakowski , presently the Ambassador of Poland to India. Mr. Iwanek has played an important role in creating a conducive atmosphere for a global consensus on security issues. The letter was handed over to Mr. Iwanek today by Amb. Nagma M. Mallick.
