Redevelopment of Railway Stations on Indian Railway- Bids sought

Ministry of Railway has launched an ambitious program of redeveloping the large stations of India(about 400) to international standards by leveraging the real estate potential of vacant railway land and airspace in and around the stations into iconic structures reflecting the culture and character of the cities and provide state-of-the-art facilities to the travelling public ad residents of the cities. This would provide immensely large investment opportunities for the developers.

 

In the first phase, Bids have been invited for 23 stations, the same may be of interest for all stakeholders viz. prospective developers/financial institutions, consulting firms etc.
